Mostly Stardew Valley supports crossplay between PC, Mac, Linux, iPhone & iPad and Android.
Computers play together: Windows, Mac and Linux players on Steam, GOG and the Xbox app (PC Game Pass) can join each other's farms. Consoles only play with the same console family, and ConcernedApe has said the technical barriers to console crossplay are very high.
Phones and tablets have experimental multiplayer: an iOS or Android player can join a PC-hosted farm by typing in the host's IP address, ideally on the same Wi-Fi network. It's hidden behind a code on the title screen, has no farm browser, and isn't in the Apple Arcade version (Stardew Valley+).
On PC, crossplay covers GOG, Steam and Xbox app.
The PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch versions don't have crossplay with other platforms.
Some platforms are marked as partial support: crossplay works with limits (for example only some modes, or an opt-in setting).
