Is The Elder Scrolls Online cross-platform?
The Elder Scrolls Online crossplay
No The Elder Scrolls Online doesn't have crossplay: each platform family has its own players. PS5 and PS4 players can play together; PC, Xbox Series and Xbox One players can play together; PC and Mac players can play together.
ESO has six separate megaserver groups: PC/Mac, PlayStation and Xbox, each with a North America and a Europe server. PS4 and PS5 share the PlayStation servers, and Xbox One and Series X|S share the Xbox ones, but PlayStation, Xbox and PC players can't play together.
Since June 2, 2026 ESO is an Xbox Play Anywhere game and on PC Game Pass.
On PC, crossplay covers ESO launcher, Steam and Xbox app.

Does The Elder Scrolls Online have cross-progression?
Cross-progression: Partly
The Microsoft Store / Xbox app version on PC plays on the Xbox servers with your Xbox characters, Crowns and DLC, so that's real cross-progression between Xbox and PC.
Steam and ESO launcher accounts stay on the PC/Mac servers, and characters can't be transferred between servers.
ZeniMax says a team is building full crossplay and cross-progression, but it isn't coming in 2026 and there's no release window.
