Blizzard dropped the "2" in February 2026, so the game is now officially just called Overwatch. A native Switch 2 version arrived on April 14, 2026.
Quick Play, Arcade and custom games mix every platform. Competitive is split: console players using a controller have their own pool, while PC players and console players using mouse and keyboard share another. A party with both PC and console players goes into the PC pool.
