Is Dying Light cross-platform?
Dying Light crossplay
Partly Dying Light has crossplay, but players are split into 3 separate groups that can't meet: PC, Mac and Linux; PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4; Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One. Nintendo Switch has no crossplay.
On computers, Steam, Epic and GOG players on Windows, Mac and Linux can all play co-op together; Techland added this when the game came to the Epic Games Store.
There's no crossplay between consoles or with PC. PS5 and Xbox Series X|S run the PS4 and Xbox One version with a free next-gen update, so they play with PS4 and Xbox One players. The Switch version is separate.
The sequels are different: Dying Light 2 has crossplay between PC stores only, and Dying Light: The Beast launched without crossplay.
On PC, crossplay covers Epic, GOG and Steam.
Cross-progression: No Progress stays on the platform you played on.
